Tulip (bulbs) Creme Upstar (3 pcs)
Tulip Creme Upstar is an elegant double variety, known for its soft creamy-pink palette. Its dense petals form a luxurious bloom reminiscent of a rose. As the flower opens, it gradually shifts in color from creamy to soft pink with warm apricot undertones.
Variety description:
Flower: large double blooms (8–10 cm), densely packed petals, blending cream, light pink, and apricot tones.
Height: 40–45 cm. Stems are strong and hold the heavy flowers well.
Foliage: lush green, broad, providing a contrasting backdrop for the delicate petals.
Blooming time: mid-spring — late April to early May. Flowers abundantly and lasts up to 2 weeks.
Fragrance: light, pleasant, with creamy-caramel notes.
Hardiness: tolerates spring frosts and is resistant to most tulip diseases.
Growing conditions:
Soil: light, fertile, well-drained, neutral or slightly alkaline pH.
Planting: plant in autumn at a depth of 10–12 cm with 10 cm spacing between bulbs.
Care: water moderately. After flowering, remove spent blooms while leaving foliage until it fully yellows to allow nutrients to return to the bulb.
Where to plant?
Flowerbeds and borders: looks luxurious in group plantings, creating soft pastel accents.
Mixed borders: pairs beautifully with white, pink, and apricot tulips, daffodils, and muscari.
Containers: ideal for decorative pots and planters on balconies or terraces.
Cut flowers: thanks to strong stems and dense blooms, it keeps well in bouquets.
Tulip Creme Upstar is a refined choice for anyone who values soft, romantic shades and luxurious petal texture.
