Tulip (bulbs) Foxtrot (2 pcs)
Tulip Foxtrot is one of the most striking early double varieties. Its dense flowers resemble lush peonies, and the soft pink petal tones gradually shift to cream or white with subtle watercolor-like transitions. Thanks to its early blooming, Foxtrot brings warmth and elegance to the spring garden.
Variety description:
Flower: large double buds, 8–10 cm in diameter. Petals are soft pink with cream and white shades, sometimes with a slight pearlescent shimmer.
Height: 30–40 cm — a compact plant that holds its shape well, even in rain.
Foliage: broad, rich green with a characteristic bluish tint typical for tulips.
Blooming time: very early — late March to April. Flowering lasts about two weeks.
Fragrance: light, pleasantly sweet.
Hardiness: tolerates short spring frosts and is disease-resistant.
Growing conditions:
Soil: light, fertile, well-drained. Preferably sunny, but light partial shade is acceptable.
Planting: in autumn (September–October) at a depth of 10–12 cm, spacing 8–10 cm between bulbs.
Care: regular but moderate watering during active growth. After flowering, remove spent buds, leaving foliage until yellowing to allow nutrients to return to the bulb.
Where to plant?
Flowerbeds and borders: ideal for creating pastel spring compositions.
Mixed borders: pairs beautifully with white, cream, or pale pink tulips, as well as daffodils and muscari.
Containers: suitable for pots and planters on balconies or terraces.
Cut flowers: thanks to its dense buds, Foxtrot keeps well in a vase, adding softness and romance to bouquets.
Tulip Foxtrot is a refined classic among double varieties, adding bright early-spring accents to your garden.
