Professionally selected mixture of ciders for the spring period
We offer to your attention a professionally selected mixture of ciders for the spring period. Sidereal plants in the intervals between the growth of the main crops help to fill the losses of humus and other organic substances, reduce the excessive acidity of the soil, and increase the fertile layer. On lands enriched with green fertilizers, cultivated plants absorb mineral fertilizers better, this allows to reduce their amount somewhat.
The structure of the soil improves noticeably. Heavy soils become more structured, moisture- and air-permeable. The roots of some types of siderates penetrate deep into the soil, making it looser. Sandy soils become moisture-rich, will dry out less, and will become more structured. In addition, siderates can serve as mulch and protect young seedlings from frost.
Siderates remain in the soil, and form a layer of decomposing organic matter, in which soil microorganisms actively multiply, attract worms and other insects, which process it into humic substances, which significantly increase fertility.
We recommend to carry out so-called continuous sowing or in wide rows, very densely. Put the seeds in the ground, water them, that is, act as in the case of ordinary sowing.
It is necessary to dig, mow, and lay siderates in the ground before it gives seeds - during the period of budding. We recommend mowing and leaving in the soil, and only then digging up.
For convenient, uniform and quick sowing - use a seeder.
On light soils, we recommend removing the green mass that has grown - earlier, before it becomes coarse, so it will rot faster.
On heavy loams, such coarse organic matter will be rather an additional bonus, hard stems will make it more loose.
Siderate seeds are sown thickly, almost like a lawn.
Spring siderates are intermediate crops that should have time to grow. They should be wrapped in the soil before planting the main crops. You can leave them for the summer and repeat the sowing in the fall.
